A condensed 3 hour Workshop to learn to birth your baby confidently, calmly and in control.
Using simple, tried and tested Hypnobirthing and Mindfulness techniques, you learn to harness the harmonious power of your mind and your body to comfortably birth your baby, no matter what happens and where.
Birth Partners learn to assist in a way they may not have considered and leave feeling empowered to support and nurture in the way their partner needs and is necessary to have a better and more bonding pregnancy and birth.
You will leave with a skillset for life that includes Mindfulness, Self-Hypnosis and Relaxation techniques. You and your partner will learn about how your body is designed to have a baby, how you can work with it to give birth, the mind-body connection, release fears that you may hold and how to cope with labour using breathing techniques, visualisation and much more. Birth Partners learn how to support and advocate for you in the way that you need and desire, creating an environment suitable for birth wherever you are.
Hypnobirthing gives you the tools to be able to make informed choices and the confidence to enact your choices. It helps you to trust your body, your baby and your instinct, which are designed for birth, so that you can enjoy pregnancy and birth without fear and the ‘expected’ pain. Hypnobirthing mothers often have fewer interventions and fewer drugs.
Hypnobirthing cannot promise the perfect natural birth, but it enables you to have the best birth for you, whatever the circumstances. Often a mother describes a hypnobirthing as the most wonderful and empowering experience of her life.
Lunch is included in the price and you will have the opportunity to purchase items to enable you to continue practising hypnobirthing at home. The course cost is for the pregnant woman and her birth partner and is a perfect bolt on sessions to the 6 week antenatal course.
