Are you a grandparent-to-be? Congratulations! Lets explore how things have changed from when you were raising children.
Feel better prepared for helping with your grandchild by building on your current knowledge and experience by being armed with up to date information and useful skills including first aid, how you might support different family members and practical baby care.
The course includes:
All the latest guidelines for caring for a baby: including safe sleep and feeding
Baby first aid: including choking, resuscitation (CPR), the recovery position, burns, fevers, febrile seizures, rashes and meningitis
How you might support different members of the family at this time
Practical skills recap: washing and dressing, nappy changing and feeding
Brain development, crying, safe sleep and safe baby wearing
Tips for being a birth partner
Make friends with other grandparents-to-be
